Since 1976, in August, Valdese hosts a festival to celebrate the "Glorious Return" of the Waldenses from exile in Switzerland to their native valleys in the Cottian Alps of Italy in 1689.
Enjoy children's rides, live music, 170 vendors, little miss & master pageant, boccie tournament, glorious return walk, footrace, the outdoor drama "From This Day Forward", extended hours for local attractions and MUCH MORE!
