11 Variations on Friar John's Failure

The Drama Department at WPCC presents "11 Variations on Friar John's Failure" a comedy in one act by Yuri Baranovsky. Produced by special arrangement with Playscripts.com, this play imagines 11 different ways that Friar John, a minor character from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, is distracted from delivering Juliet's disguised death plan to Romeo. Along the way the friar encounters Hamlet, Lady MacBeth, Tom Sawyer, Robin Hood, a Starbucks employee, and others.
