Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre

Knight Theater, Charlotte- Founded in 1958 by Alvin Ailey, the troupe is known for its vibrant artistry and repertory as well as for Mr. Ailey's humanist vision. The company of 30 dancers earned its nickname, “Cultural Ambassador to the World” because of its extensive international touring. AAADT has performed for an estimated 23 million people in 71 countries worldwide. The fee includes transportation and ticket. Registration is required.
