A Raisin in the Sun
A Raisin in the Sun portrays a few weeks in the life of the Youngers, a Black family living in Chicago's Southside sometime between World War II and the 1950s. High tensions and deep struggle arise when a substantial insurance payment could mean financial salvation or personal ruin. Select high school students from the NoDa School of Arts present this iconic piece by Lorraine Hansberry made possible through a grant with the Arts and Science Council. www.nodaschoolofarts.org NO LATE SEATING
